RecipeYummylicious grub
I first had this dessert in Japan, so for the longest time I thought it was Japanese. But it turns out that it's pretty universal, but I tagged this as a Japanese dessert because that's where I first fell in love with it.

I used the regular unflavored, uncolored powdered gelatin (agar-agar) widely available in Asia, usually in a yellow envelope. For a wiggly-er texture, use a box of vanilla-flavored Jell-O brand jelly mix, and omit the sugar and vanilla essence in this recipe.

P.S. Do not use a konnyaku jelly mix; chewy coffee jelly is quite gross, trust me.
